▶ All graduating students are required to move out by Thursday, August 14, 2025.

  ※ This date is based on the graduation ceremony schedule

○ 박사과정 졸업생 퇴소

▶ 2025. 8. 14.(목)까지 퇴소

▶ 불가피한 사유로 연장이 필요할 시 첨부의 연장신청서를 작성(지도교수 서명 필)하여 제출

- 제출기한: ~2025. 7. 25.(금)

- 단, 호실변동 및 연구원 생활관비(125천원) 부과(8, 9동 거주 불가, 졸업전 이동조치)

- 최대 3개월 거주 가능(호실 여유 상태에 따라 연장신청 승인이 되지 않을 수 있음)

▶ 기혼자아파트 거주하는 박사과정 졸업생은 GIST 박사후연구원 계약체결시 연장거주 가능

※ 관련 임용서류 및 거주자 신분을 ‘연구원’으로 변경하는 절차 필요

○ Ph.D. Graduates – Move-Out Instructions

▶ All Ph.D. graduates must vacate the dormitory by Thursday, August 14, 2025.

▶ If an extension is unavoidable, please complete the attached Extension Application Form

 (signature of academic advisor required) and submit it by the deadline.

- Submission Deadline: By Friday, July 25, 2025

- Important Notes for Extension:

   ・ Room relocation is required prior to graduation.

  ・ Residence in Dorms 8 and 9 is not permitted after graduation.

  ・ A postdoctoral residence fee of KRW 125,000/month will be applied.

▶ Ph.D. graduates currently residing in the Married Student Apartments may be permitted to

extend their stay if they sign a postdoctoral researcher contract with GIST.

  - In this case, relevant employment documents must be submitted, and the resident status

must be changed to “researcher.”

○ 석사과정 졸업생 퇴소

▶ 2025. 8. 14.(목)까지 퇴소

▶ 박사과정 내부진학자: 하단의 ‘내부진학자 입소안내’란 참고

▶ 석사과정생의 거주 연장은 불가

▶ Students continuing into the Ph.D. program: Please refer to the section below titled

“Move-In for Internal Ph.D. Admissions.”

▶ Extension of residence is not permitted for master's program graduates.

신입생

입소

○ (공통) 내외부 진학자 모두 입소원서 제출 필수

○ All students admitted to the graduate program -whether through internal or external admission-

must submit a dormitory application form.

○ 신입생 입소: 2025. 8. 18.(월)부터 입소가능

▶ 방학중 인턴 또는 예비 신입생 신분으로 거주했던 경우, 일괄퇴소 후

신규 부여된 학번으로 재입소(퇴소원서 및 입소원서 모두 제출/호실 변경 발생)

○ New Student Move-In: Starting Monday, August 18, 2025

▶ Students who stayed in the dormitory during the vacation period as interns or pre-admitted

students must move out and move in again using their newly assigned student ID.

(Both move-out and move-in application forms must be submitted, and a new room will be assigned.)

○ 내부진학자(석사 → 박사) 입소

▶ 신규 부여된 학번으로 재입소(퇴소원서 및 입소원서 모두 제출)

▶ 9동 거주자 중 계속 거주 희망시 졸업전 공실 관련 추첨에 응하기 바람

(미추첨시 호실 이동, 추첨일 별도 안내)

▶ 외부 거주자 중 생활관 입소 희망자는 신입생 입소와 동일하게 진행

▶ 집중입소기간: 2025. 8. 18.(월)~ 2025. 8. 21.(목) / 입소원서 제출

※ 입소원서 미작성시 석사 학번으로 제우스 인식되어 생활관비 부과 오류발생

○ Internal Admission (Master’s → Ph.D.) – Move-In Instructions

▶ You must reapply using your newly assigned Ph.D. student ID.

 Please submit both the move-out and move-in application forms.

▶ Residents of Dorm.9 who wish to continue staying must participate in the room vacancy

lottery prior to graduation.

(Room change will be required if not selected; lottery date will be announced separately)

▶ Those currently residing off-campus and wishing to move in must follow the same

procedure as new students

▶ Move-in period: August 18 (Mon) to August 21 (Thu), 2025

Make sure to submit the move-in application within this period.

※ If the move-in application is not submitted, the system (ZEUS) will continue to recognize

your master’s student ID, which may result in incorrect dormitory fee charges.

○ 지스트대학 연계진학자(학사 → 석사/통합) 입소

▶ 외부거주자: 상단의 ‘신입생 입소’절차와 동일하게 진행

▶ 지스트대학 생활관에 잔류중인 진학예정자의 경우,

2025. 8. 14.(목)~ 8. 17.(일)* 퇴소 후, 퇴소 당일부터 바로 대학원 생활관 입소 가능.

(생활관비는 입소일부터 부과) * 예정이며, 대학생활관 공실 상황에 따라 일정 변동

○ GIST College Students Admitted to Graduate Programs (Bachelor → Master/Integrated Program)

▶ Off-campus residents: Please follow the same procedure as outlined above for new student

move-in.

▶ Students currently residing in the GIST College Dormitory:

 You must move out between Thursday, August 14 and Sunday, August 17, 2025,

and may move into the Graduate Dormitory on the same day as your move-out.

※ 퇴소 시 반드시 사감실에서 호실 점검 받아야 함. 상태 불량시 청소비 청구함.

퇴소원서 미제출 후 임의 퇴소인 경우, 퇴소원서 접수 시점까지 생활관비를 청구함.

※ All residents must receive a room inspection from the Dormitory Supervisor before moving out.

 If the room is found to be in poor condition, a cleaning fee will be charged.

※ If you move out without submitting the Move-Out Application Form, dormitory fees will be

charged until the date the form is officially received.

① 건강진단서 사본(생활관 입소용)

▶ 의료기관(보건소 및 일반병원) 발행건으로 “결핵 및 B형 간염 검사 필수” 포함

* 결핵 양성 판정시 입소 불가

* B형 간염 항원·항체 없는 경우 입소가능하나, 예방접종실시 적극 권고

▶ 6개월 이내 받은 신체검사 또는 연구활동종사자 검진 결과로 대체 가능(사본도 가능)

※ 비용 지원 없음

① Copy of Medical Check-up Certificate (Required for Dormitory Move-In)

▶ Must be issued by a medical institution (e.g., public health center or hospital),

and must include test results for tuberculosis and hepatitis B.

 * Dormitory entry is not allowed if the tuberculosis result is positive.

  * If both hepatitis B antigen and antibody are absent, move-in is permitted,

but vaccination is strongly recommended

▶ A general health check-up or health screening for research personnel conducted within

the past 6 months may be submitted instead (copies are acceptable).

※ No financial support will be provided for the check-up.

※ 호실 배정은 완료되었으나, 체크인 절차 누락방지를 위해 호실정보는 당일 체크인 전에 공개하지 않는 점 양해바람.

Bedding Rental
